6.1 Maintenance
The megohmmeter type 24508 requires no maintenance by the user.
It merely needs protecting from dust and moisture.
Any repairs that may be needed must be performed only at the manufacturer’s
premises.
6.2 Customer Service
Please supply the serial number and software version when
contacting the manufacturer with technical queries.
Only then can the manufacturer find out the technical
status of the equipment and hence provide help quickly.
The serial number is shown on the rating plate.
If the megohmmeter needs to be returned for repairs,
please note the following requirements for packing and
shipping:
If you have a problem with the unit, please attach a note
to the case summarizing the fault.
If you also include a name, department, fax number and
your phone number for possible queries, this will help to
speed up the process.
Use suitable packaging for the test equipment.
