OPERATIONS MANUAL
Please read the User Manual carefully before use, and
follow all operating and safety instructions!
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing Burrell Scientific as you your source for laboratory equipment. This
manual covers the Burrell Scientific line of digital Hotplates and Hotplate/Stirrers. In order to
ensure the safe operation of the equipment enclosed, please read this manual in its entirety
before use.
INSTALLATION
1.
Prior to installation, ensure all components are included in the carton and have arrived
as expected.
2.
Contact Burrell Scientific at 800-732-8484 or [email protected] as soon as possible
should there be any discrepancy or damage.
3.
Place your new Hotplate or Hotplate/Stirrer on a flat, nonslip, level surface with at least
4 inches (10cm) clearance on all sides. If desired, attach the optional support rod to the
rear of the unit by screwing threaded end into designated hole.
4.
Attach proper power cord to the rear of unit and plug into a grounded outlet of
appropriate voltage.
VOLTAGE OF OUTLET MUST MATCH VOLTAGE LISTED ON THE LABEL ON THE
REAR OF THE INSTRUMENT. FAILURE TO SUPPLY APPROPRIATE POWER MAY
DAMAGE INSTRUMENT AND VOID WARRANTY.
