Dolby Pro Logic is a procedure for multi-channel reproduction of stereo signals and surround encoded
two-channel signals. You can select here, how playback is to occur.
There are three possible settings:
MUSIC :
Select the setting MUSIC for music playback with stereo signals as well as
surround encoded two-channel signals.
MOVIE :
Select the setting MOVIE for movie playback with stereo signals as well as
surround encoded two-channel signals.
PRO LOGIC :
Select the setting PRO LOGIC if the playback quality of the other modes is
not satisfactory
Activate the
SETUP MENU
and select the menu item
PL II Mode:

The display will show
PL II Mode: MUSIC
(instead of
MUSIC
another mode may appear)
Using the keys
VAL- (57)
and
VAL+ (58)
select the desired settings.

Dolby Pro Logic II Panorama
This mode extends the front stereo sound characteristics to the surround speakers, in order to create
an expanded spatial sound impression.
There are two possible settings:
OFF :
The panorama mode is off.
ON :
The panorama mode is activated.
The setting in this menu item only has an effect upon the sound characteristics if the menu item „Dolby
Pro Logic II Mode“ in the SETUP MENU is set to
MUSIC
.
Activate the
SETUP MENU
and select the menu item
PL II Panorama
.
The display will show
PL II Panorama: ON
(instead of
ON
it may show
OFF
)
