EITENGITTERHOLME
An den Betthäuptern [3] + [10] befinden sich
links und rechts je eine Führungsschiene [17]
für die Seitengitterholme [7] . In ihnen läuft je-
weils ein Kunststoffschieber mit 4 Metallzapfen.
die Metallzapfen greifen in die Langlöcher, in
den Stirnseiten, der 4 Seitengitterholme. die Sei-
tengitterholme können bei Bedarf angestellt oder
abgesenkt werden.
n Zur Montage der Seitengitterholme muss der
Liegeflächenrahmen auf mittlere Höhe gefahren
werden (Elektrischer Anschluss siehe Seite 16).
n Im Auslieferungszustand befinden sich jeweils
zwei Kunststoffschieber in einer Führungs-
schiene.
Beginnen Sie beim Betthaupt Kopfteil:
F Lösen Sie die Rändelschraube [f] am unteren
Ende der Führungsschiene [17] , bis Sie einen
Kunststoffschieber [g] nach unten entnehmen
können. der andere Kunststoffschieber verbleibt
in der Führungsschiene.
F damit der Kunststoffschieber nicht nach
unten herausfallen kann, drehen Sie die Rändel-
schraube wieder hinein und ziehen sie fest.
der entnommene Kunststoffschieber muss nun
in die zweite Führungsschiene des gleichen
Betthaupts eingeführt werden:
F Lösen Sie die Rändelschraube [a] am unte-
ren Ende der Führungsschiene [17] und führen
den Kunststoffschieber, mit der abgerundeten
Seite nach oben, in die Führungsschiene.
F drehen Sie die Rändelschraube wieder hin-
ein und ziehen sie fest.
F Ziehen Sie die beiden Kunststoffschieber am
Kopfteil hoch, bis sie einrasten.
Metallseitengitter
F Stecken Sie nun den schmalen Seitengitter-
holm [7] auf das oberste Paar der Metallzapfen
am Betthaupt Kopfteil und lassen das andere
Ende des Holms einfach auf den Boden auflie-
gen.
F die Seitengitterholme sind auf der oberen
Schmalseite abgerundet. die abgerundete
Seite muss bei allen Seitengitterholmen nach
oben weisen.
F Stecken Sie nun den breiten Seitengitter-
holm auf das untere Paar der Metallzapfen und
lassen das andere Ende des Holms einfach auf
den Boden aufliegen.
Beachten Sie die Einbausituation gemäß dem
Foto.
F wiederholen Sie den gleichen Vorgang auch
auf der anderen Seite des Kopfteils.

SSEMBLY OF THE SIDE RAIL BEAMS
At the end boards [3] + [10] you will find on the
left side and right side a guide bar [17] for the
side rail beams [7] . In them runs a plastic slide
with 4 metal pins. The metal pins hook into the
oblong holes on the face of the 4 side rail
beams. The side rail beams can be raised or
lowered, as needed.
n To mount the side rail beams the reclining
surface frame has to be raised to mid-level
(Electrical Connections see page 16).
n when first delivered there are two plastic
slides in a guide bar.
Start with the end board, head section:
F Loosen the knurled screws [a] on the bottom
end of the guide bar [17] until you can remove
one of the plastic slides toward the bottom.
Leave the other plastic slide in the guide bar.
F In order to prevent the plastic slide from fal-
ling out of the guide bar, reinsert and tighten the
knurled screws.
The plastic slide you have just removed must
now be inserted into the second guide bar of the
end board, head section.
F Loosen the knurled screws [a] at the bottom
end of the guide bar [17] and insert the rounded
end of the plastic slide into the guide bar.
F Reinsert and tighten the knurled screws.
F Pull both plastic slides on the head section
upward until they click into place.
Metal side rail
F Now place the thin side rail bar [7] onto the
top pair of metal plugs on the head board, and
let the other end of the side rail bar rest on the
floor.
F The side rail beams are rounded on the top.
The rounded side must always be uppermost.
F Now place the thick side rail bar onto the
bottom pair of metal plugs and let the other end
of the side rail bar rest on the floor.
Please refer to the photograph.
F Repeat the same procedure on the other
side of the end board, head section.
