Maintenance / Cleaning
The device has an internal measuring chamber
which detects smoke. The device must be kept
free from dust in order to ensure that enough
air can flow through the sensor. Use a damp
cloth or brush to remove dust. No dust or dirt
must enter the device during cleaning as this
may cause it to malfunction.
Ensure that no water enters the device.
Do not use any readily inflammable, chemical,
corrosive, abrasive or sharp cleaning materials.

Guidelines
This device can be used in conjunction with
the BURGprotect Base Radio alarm system. The
system can be configured to send an alarm to
the user when the smoke detector is triggered.
In order to ensure that the system functions
correctly it is important to install it in the
correct location.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The device may
not function correctly if installed in an
inappropriate location.
