initial Set up

How To Brew

1. Lift Latch. Firmly insert Brew

Chamber to make contact
with the Air Infusion Nozzle.
Close Latch.

2. Firmly seat the Water

Reservoir into place.

3. Plug brewer into a standard

120V electrical outlet.

The Brew Button and Reservoir Lights 
will alternately flash indicating the Hot 
Water Tank needs filled. 

4. Remove Lid on Water

Reservoir and pour in
cold water to the top 12
ounce mark. Wait as the
water level drops and the
Water Reservoir empties
completely. Pour in another
12 ounces and wait for the
water level to stabilize.

5. Top off Water Reservoir to

the 12 ounce mark. Place
a 12 ounce cup on drip tray
and press the Brew Button.

6. After press out, your trifecta

MB5 is ready to use when
Brew Button stops flashing.

1. Lift Latch. Remove Brew

Chamber.

2. Pour ground coffee or tea

into Brew Chamber.

Recommended Start: 
Using the BUNN scoop, generously 
measure and LEVEL a full scoop of 
ground coffee. This yields approximately 
20 grams of coffee that is recommended 
for 10 ounces of water. Never use more 
than 35 grams of coffee. Use 5 grams of 
loose leaf tea per 10 ounces of water, or 
approximately 1/2 BUNN scoop. 

3. Lift Latch. Firmly insert Brew

Chamber to make contact
with the Air Infusion Nozzle.
Close Latch.

4. Fill Water Reservoir to

preferred level.

Recommended Start: 
10 ounces of water per one level 
BUNN scoop of ground coffee, or 1/2 
scoop of loose leaf tea.

5. Place cup on Drip Tray.

6. Select Infusion Setting.

C1

 = 40 second brew, low turbulence

C2

 = 45 second brew, medium turbulence

C3

 = 50 second brew, high turbulence

T1

 = 2 minute brew, low turbulence

T2

 = 3 minute brew, medium turbulence

7. Press Brew Button. Watch

the Air Infusion process in
Brew Chamber, then enjoy
your beverage after cycle
is complete.

Beverage will be hot!

The recommended start settings are just that - a recommendation! Explore 
your palate preferences by experimenting with the brew settings, grams of 
coffee or tea used and water volumes. It is what the trifecta was designed for!
