Check the spark plug with a naked eye. If there is excessive build-up
of deposits, dispose of the spark plug and replace with a new one.

Measure the clearance of the spark plug. It should be between
0.6mm and 0.7mm.

Screw the new spark plug into place by hand being careful not to
cross thread the threads. Once finger tight, use the spanner to
tighten.
8.
Replace the spark plug cap.
9.
Replace the small maintenance cover.

The spark plug must be firmly tightened in place.
Failure to tighten sufficiently can cause excessive
heat which can damage the generator.
