USING THE GENERATOR (CONT…)
-
During start-up it is common for both the green
indicator light and the red overload light to be
illuminated. After some time the red light should go
off. If it does not, this indicates that there is a
problem. Please contact your local service agent for
assistance.
When using the DC charger output. Turn the smart throttle to the off position.
To avoid sparks when connecting the battery for charging, connect the
charging cable to the generator first. Ensure that the positive and negative
clamps are not touching one another. Connect the positive (+) clamp to the
positive terminal first (RED). Then connect the negative (-) clamp to the
negative terminal (BLACK).
-
DO NOT start the generator with a battery connected
for charging.
-
Keep the charging cable and batteries out of the
reach of children.
-
Batteries can contain toxic chemicals, check the
battery instruction manual for information.
