Preparing the battery
5.4.1
Checking the battery
The battery must be checked before it is charged
for the first time.

Press the
On-Off button (battery)
.
If none of the LEDs on the battery level
indicator light up, the battery may be damaged.
The battery may be fully charged if at least one,
but not all, of the LEDs on the battery level
indicator lights up.
5.4.2
Retrofitting the battery locking lever
The battery locking lever can be retrofitted to
SuperCore or UltraCore batteries if they do not
have one.

Preparing the frame

Cut out the drilling template in Section 11.4
along the blue dotted line.

Fold drilling template along green dotted line.

Place and position drilling template on frame.

Stick drilling template to frame.

Make hole mark.

Pre-drill hole 3.3 mm in diameter (M4).

Cut M4 thread.

Fitting the locking lever

Insert the countersunk screws (1) into the base
plate (2).

Join the locking lever to the base plate using
the chainring screws. Use a thread locker.

Fasten countersunk screws into the frame
using a M4 Allen key. Use a thread locker.
