Cleaning, Storage, and Disposal
Cleaning – Hood, filter
•
Clean, dry and inspect prior to each use and before storage.
•
Use warm water, mild dishwashing liquid and a soft brush to remove any dirt
from exterior surfaces.
•
Do not immerse equipment in water.
•
Mechanical laundering of loose-fitting hoods is not recommended.
•
Do not soak components in cleaning solutions or solvents.
•
Thoroughly rinse the loose-fitting hood with clean, fresh water and allow to air-

•
Bullard has tested several common decontamination and cleaning agents to
determine if the integrity of the loose-fitting hood has been compromised after
decontaminating. Based on this testing, it was determined that the hoods did not
suffer any significant degradation when cleaned with these agents after eight
times
