Confirm the configuration that you will use to cable the SAS adapter to the 58/87 disk drive
enclosure as follows:

See the common SAS adapter configurations that are listed in step 7 to determine if one of them
applies to your requirements.

Locate the connection for each adapter for which you are using an external SAS cable to connect the
58/87.

The configuration figures in step 7 use adapter cards to represent the external server

connections. The adapter card can represent one of the following connection types:

The external port of an internal adapter cable that you confirmed in step 4 on page 64.
