Charging the battery
The rechargeable battery must be charged before the first use. Only recharge the battery once it
is has been fully discharged, i.e. the performance clearly decreases.
Otherwise the battery may not achieve its full capacity at the
subsequent charge.
1.
Plug the battery charger to power source (230-240V/50Hz). The red
light will come on .
2.
When the unit is plugged in the charger, the red light will flashing
around 3-5 Sec. Then the battery pack is being charged, the red
light is on , and green light is flashing.
3.
When the battery is full charged, only the green light will be lighted
on, and the red light will off.
Always disconnect the charger from the mains before you remove the battery from the charger.
The charger and battery may become warm to touch while charging. This is a normal condition, and
does not indicate a problem.
Inserting / removing the battery
Ensuring the correct orientation between the battery and the battery
compartment, insert the rechargeable battery into the machine. Do not
apply force when inserting the battery. Insertion can be achieved easily
and without resistance. The battery must be inserted completely until the
battery retention clips on the sides of the battery compartment
automatically lock it into place. To remove the battery press the battery
retention clips and pull the battery out of its compartment.
Inserting bit or drill
Open the chuck (1).
Insert the drill or bit in the chuck.
Tighten the chuck firmly.
Check if the bit or drill is in the centre of the chuck.
Operation
Switching ON and OFF
To start the machine, you squeeze the ON / OFF switch (7). To stop the machine, you release the
ON / OFF switch.
Torque adjustment:
The tool supply you 17+1 different torque steps, you can control the maximum torque applied to
the drill bit with the torque control knob (2)
The torque control knob should only be operated when the machine is not running; otherwise the
machine may be damaged.
Select a lower torque for insertion/removal of screws to avoid damage to the work-piece (in
particular wooden work-pieces) or to the screw. For drilling select a higher torque setting. Do a
test first on an item which is not your final work-piece and adjust the desired torque accordingly
before you start the actual work.
Forward / reverse lever
The machine has to come to a complete stop before the reverse rotation lever (4) can be used;
otherwise the machine may be damaged. Put the reverse-rotation lever in the central position
before you put the machine down, to avoid unintentional starting.
To select forward position (right rotation), push the forward / reverse lever (4) to the right (R).
To select the reverse position (left rotation), push the forward / reverse lever (4) to the left (L).
Speed selector
Move the switch (3) to get higher speed 1050rpm, or lower speed 300rpm.
