Comfort Controls
This section tells you how to operate your
comfort controls.
With this system, you can control the heating, cooling
and ventilation in your vehicle. Your vehicle also has a
flow
-
through ventilation system described later in
this section.
Dual Automatic ComforTemp
t
Climate Control
Your vehicle has the dual automatic ComforTemp
climate control system. The following information tells
you how it works.
TEMP (Temperature): To adjust the temperature, press
the TEMP arrows. If you want a warmer temperature,
press the red arrow. If you want a cooler temperature,
press the blue arrow. The temperature setting is shown
in the display.
FAN: If you want the fan to run at a lower speed,
press the down arrow on the FAN button. The fan speed
will decrease with every press of the down arrow until
the lowest speed is reached. If you want to increase the
fan speed, press the up arrow on the FAN button. The
fan indicators will also be shown on the display.
Pressing this button will display the current setting.
AIRFLOW: Press the up or down arrow to change the
direction of the airflow. The available choices are FLOOR,
FLOOR
-
MID, MID and WINDSHIELD
-
FLOOR.
If the system is set for AUTO, pressing an up or down
arrow will display the current airflow direction, the
temperature setting and the fan speed.
If the up arrow is selected while in the FRONT defrost
mode, the system will direct the air toward the
mid
-
position. If the down arrow is selected while in the
FRONT defrost mode, the system will direct the air
toward the floor, and the FRONT defrost mode will
cancel. The arrows will also be shown in the display.
