Assembly - Backsaver Auger 1684, 16104 & 16124

16124 Bridging Assembly

NOTE: The following images may not show your exact

model as it appears but the procedure is

correct.

Assemble trusses when tubes are on the ground and

supported at the discharge spout end, at mid point on

each tube section, at each flange connection, and

supported at input box flange (9 support points). Tube

assembly must be straight (angle 0 degrees) when

tubes are fully supported.

The T-bar (Item 1) is not shipped with unit. Install a

bolt and nut (Item 2)

through the hitch

mount and T-bar.

NOTE: If a T-bar is not available, secure the input box

so as to prevent the tube assembly from rolling

during truss beam installation.

NOTE: The T-bar is installed before truss beam

assembly, the T-bar prevents the tube

assembly from rolling during truss beam

installation.

NOTE: See Page 92 for truss beam identification.

NOTE: The 16124 tube assembly consists of four

tubes. When referring to the tubes, the lower

tube will be #1 tube, #2 tube, #3 tube and #4

tube.

Install the 1-1/4” nut (Item 1) onto the truss fastener

(Item 2). Install the truss fastener into the truss beam

(Item 3). Install the 1-1/4” nut (Item 4)

Repeat procedure for the opposite side.

onto the #1 tube lower truss beam mount (Item 2)

Install the undercarriage pin sleeve (Item 3) and 1/2” x

4-1/2” bolt and 1/2” lock nut (Item 4). Tighten the

bolt and lock nut.
Repeat procedure on opposite side.
