4.7 Switching Outputs
All switching outputs are set in a similar way. Therefore, the number of the switching output is marked “X”.
Select the desired switching output by opening the respective main menu (
oil or temp ).
By default, the switching outputs are set as follows:

The assignment of the switching outputs as well as further basic settings for the switching outputs can be
changed in menu Basic settings extended functions (
b.EF ), see chapter 4.6.3.
Sub menu Extended functions ( EF X) provides further settings for each switching output affecting for
example the switching characteristics of the output. The switching output can be tested as well in this sub
menu.
4.7.1 Switching Output X: Definition of the Switching Characteristics
The switching characteristic is set in the following menu:

The following options are available:
Hysteresis
Hysteresis,
NO contact
Hysteresis,

The switch works as NO or NC
contact. If the set point is exceeded,
the output signal is set. If the
measuring signal falls below the
reset point the output signal is reset.
NO contact
is to be understood in the
following way: the PNP switching
output is closed if level is above
switching point
SP x and opens if level
falls below reset point

is to be understood in the

output is open if the level is above
switching point
SP x and closes if level
falls below reset point
