Open System Preferences and click Print & Fax.
Click Printing and then click Set Up Printers.
Click Add and select Appletalk. Your local zone will automatically be
selected. All Appletalk-enabled printers will appear in the Printer List.
The LinkStation appears as a PostScript Printer. Select the LinkStation
and from the Printer Model pop-up menu, select your printer in the Model
Name list and click Add.
OS X comes with many CUPS-GIMP drivers for todays most common
printers. If you printer does not appear, try a generic Postscript Printer or
contact the printer manufacturer.
Selecting the correct Printer Model ensures all printer functionality.
The LinkStation will now appear in the Printer List in bold type as the
default printer. It also appears in the Printer pop-up menu when you print a
document.

The Print Server funtion of the LinkStation is only available for users
who are using OSX. OS 9 does not have print drivers that are suitable
to be used with this print server function.
