Parameter Meaning
Profile Configure the connection profile.
Up to 4 profiles can be set.
Profile name Name the profile.
(maximum 64 alphanumeric characters)
3G modem The part number of your 3G modem connected to the AirStation is
displayed here.
Select carrier Select the internet provider that serves 3G modem.
Connection method Select 3G, 3.5G, CID, or Line depending on your connection.
CID Configure the CID value given by your carrier as required.
Line Configure the telephone number given by your carrier.
You don’t need to set this parameter if it is not editable.
PDP Type Choose IP or PPP depending on your connection type.
APN Choose APN value given by your carrier.
PIN Set the PIN code of 4 numeric characters.
This parameter may not be shown if your carrier does not need PIN.
Note: If you set a wrong PIN code here and authentication fails
continuously, your 3G modem may be locked.
Username Enter the username given by your carrier.
Password Enter the password given by your carrier.
Connection Type Configure the internet connection period.
[Continuous Connection] makes the connection available at any
time even if the internet communication does not happen.
[Connection on Demand] makes the connection available only if
the communication to the internet happens. Connection will be
cut automatically when the communication does not happen for a
period of time.
If choosing [Manual], switch the internet connection manually.
Automatic profile switching Switches the profile automatically if the current profile does not
establish communication.
