Installing the Inspection and Cleanout Tee for UB

Flex pipe

A local jurisdiction may require an inspection and

cleanout Tee to be installed in the vent pipe inside the

chimney. The Tee is installed in similar fashion to the

Union for UB Flex Pipes described above.

for inspection and cleaning. It is installed at the bottom of

the chimney just above the supporting elbow, and

requires an access door in the chimney wall.
