Avoid letting the battery drain completely (full drain), or you may damage the
battery (rendering the warranty void)
To prolong the battery’s life, it is important to avoid storing the battery for long
periods when empty, and it must be charged every 3 months and stored in a
cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Never short circuit the battery by making contact between positive and negative.
The battery is sealed and therefore resistant to rain, so you can use your bike normally
in wet weather. However, try not to expose the battery to large volumes of water.
The bike has low impact on the environment, as electricity is a clean form of energy. At
the end of its lifetime, you battery should (like all other batteries), be recycled.
Your battery will be less effective in cold weather*.
In ideal conditions, the battery may be fully recharged around 800 times. Over time
and through use, the battery may gradually become less effective and will eventually
need to be replaced.
Do not expose the battery to high temperatures (> 50 °C), such as those from heating,
direct sunlight, and fire.
Do not dismantle the battery. Check with the vendor if you encounter any problems.
For prolonged storage, place the batter in a cool, dry, dark place.
Use only the charger provided.
*All specifications provided are valid at a temperature of 28 °C. In general, the
battery’s capacity falls by 1% for every 1°C fall in temperature.
