5.2.3 System Guided Study Capture
1. To capture an image, position the panelist, select the panelist name and select ‘Capture Images’
TIP: Use the alignment grid to position the face in the same coordinate space for each capture. The
silhouette is a reference image from a past consultation which can serve as an aid in aligning current
capture.
2. During the capture process if the application is left idle for more than 5 minutes in the capture
screen, the live feed gets frozen and a button “Live feed” is enabled. Click on the “Live Feed” button
to retain back to the normal state.
Note: In order to improve consistency in your image capture capabilities

Instruct the Client to close his/her eyes.

Instruct the Client to wrap the black cloak around the neck to take the Quality Facial images.

Make sure to choose the area to place the Clarity Mini 3D Capture Unit where the background is dark and
there are no objects which affect the capture to take the Quality Facial Images.

There is an addition of a silhouette display of the baseline image available on the live feed window for all
repeat clients. You may adjust the position of the client’s face using ears, nose or lips on the silhouette
image as a reference. This display can be turned ON or OFF using the check-mark box-displaying “ Display
Silhouette of base-line image on live feed ”.
