You will not be able to receive text
messages until you have first sent a
message. The first sent message
registers you with the text service.
Text capacity
Your BT Paragon 650 can store up to
40 text messages in total in the inbox,
outbox and drafts folders.
Text memory full
The display shows
MEMORY
FULL
. Your Inbox is full with unread
messages.
You must read and delete text
messages from your Inbox before new
texts can be received.
SAVE MESSAGE
– press
OK
to save a text in the Draft messages
box for sending later.
DELETE
– press
OK
to delete the message
DELETE ALL
– press
OK
then
Yes
to confirm or
No
to cancel.
Reading SMS text messages
1. When you receive a new text message the display shows
TEXT X NEW
. If necessary scroll or to highlight
TEXT X NEW
and press OK .
INBOX
, is highlighted, press OK
again.
Alternatively, open the inbox by pressing scroll
to
INBOX
and press
OK
.
2. Scroll or to the message you want and press
Read
.
3. Scroll or to read through the message. You can now
press
Options
to:
DELETE
– deletes the current message.
REPLY
– write and send a reply.
FORWARD
– forward the message to another number.
CALL NUMBER
– ring the number.
SAVE NUMBER
– save number to the directory (if the number is
already stored, this option is not displayed).
