The base unit red
power light comes on.
Batteries cannot be
overcharged. However,
leaving the handset on the
base unit all the time can
deteriorate rechargeable
batteries. To get the longest
possible life from your
batteries, take the handset
off the base for a few hours
each day.
Battery care
Do not try to use any
power adaptor except the
one provided - item code
871605 - otherwise you
may permanently damage
your Freestyle 75 and
this will invalidate the
warranty.
Warning
To wall-mount your
Freestyle 75, use the
wall-mounting bracket,
screws and wall plugs
provided. See page 17.
Check your
telephone wall socket
If you do not have a
modern-style socket,

Plug the mains

base unit
To prevent the
cable being pulled out
Charge the handset
batteries for at least
12 hours
When you first connect
your Freestyle 75, the
rechargeable batteries
in the handset need
charging for 12 hours.
Place the handset
on the base unit face
down, ensuring the
contacts are touching.
The
CHARGING
light
on the base unit
comes on.
As a rule, placing
the handset on the
base unit overnight
will keep the batteries
fully charged for all
normal use.
