If you have any problems using
your Freestyle 75, try these common
solutions
Occasionally,
overhead power lines
can also cause
interference if you
are using the handset
outside.
In the unlikely event
of your Freestyle 75
picking up conver-
sations from other
cordless telephones,
change channels
using the
CHANNEL
button.
Beeps from the
handset
A slow beep during a
telephone call means
the handset needs
recharging.
Have you just added
numbers to the
memory? Beeps
confirm that numbers
have been stored.
No dialling tone
Check that the mains
power is on and the
base unit is plugged
in.
The handset batteries
may need recharging.
Is the line cord
plugged into the
telephone socket?
Make sure that the
base unit aerial is fully
extended.
You may be out of
range. Try moving
closer to the base.
Nothing happens
when you dial
Try the solutions
listed under
‘No
dialling tone’
above.
The handset
does not ring
Try the solutions
listed under
‘No
dialling tone’
above.
You may have too
many phones, fax
machines and/or
answering machines
plugged in which
might be overloading
the sockets.

Noise or interference
on the handset
Make sure that the
base unit aerial is fully
extended.
You may be out of
range.
The base or handset
may be too close to
electrical equipment
or metal obstructions.
