When optional Storm Monitoring license is purchased, The RTA function provides 32
band capture of the acoustic response of the selected speakers/group, using the
various signals available with the generator.
The RTA tool is not meant to be used to define an equalization using the Manual EQ, but it is a good tool
to verify the overall acoustic response. It is especially useful when used together with the Monitoring
function (see part 11): with a microphone always connected to the system, the RTA and the noise generator,
it is possible to verify the overall behaviour of a speaker remotely. We provide two settings to change the
scale and reference of the capturing.
1. The maximum level of the capture can be defined by adjusting the Microphone Reference Level.
This will allow to move the window 0dB reference level, independently from the output level.
2. The resolution of the graph can be changed from a Non Linear scale (default) providing more
screen space in the range near 0 dB to a Linear one, scaling from noise floor level to 0dB.
