9-2. Adjusting the presser foot pressure
Correct stitches
Increase the pressure.
Skipped stitches occur
Uneven stitch length
Stitches are puckered
Decrease the pressure.
The presser foot pressure should be as weak as possible,
but strong enough so that the material does not slip.
1. Loosen the adjusting nut (1).
2. Turn the presser adjusting screw (2) to adjust the
presser foot pressure.
3. Tighten the adjusting nut (1).
