The

BACKSPACE

key allows you to remove unwanted characters from your

message. It differs from the

key, which simply moves the cursor without

changing the message. The

BACKSPACE

key, however, removes the character

preceding the cursor.

TO DELETE A CHARACTER:

(1) Using the cursor movement keys, position the cursor immediately to the

right of the character you want to delete.

(2) Press the

BACKSPACE

key.
