Accessing the Scanner

Run your image editing application, such as Photoshop, Kai’s Photo Soap.
The first time you use the Brother TWAIN driver, set it as the default by
choosing the “Select TWAIN Source” menu option. Aferward, for each
original you scan choose “TWAIN Acquire” (for example:
File>Import>TWAIN>Acquire). The Scanner setup dialog box will
appear.

Scanning a Document into Your Macintosh G3 or
iMac

Insert the document(s) in the ADF of the MFC.

Adjust the following settings, if needed, in the scanner setup dialog box:

Resolution
Gray Scale (Black & White, Gray (Error Diffusion), True Gray)
Brightness
Contrast
Size

3

Click Start.

When the scanning is finished, the image will appear in your graphics
application.
