3.1.2 Reset of irregular power supply detection counter using the 

maintenance tool

(1) Open the front cover, and turn the power supply of the printer on while pressing down 

the [Go] button. Make sure that the Toner/Drum/Error LED light up.

(2) Release the [Go] button, and then make sure that all LEDs light off.

(3) Press the [Go] button for over 2 seconds, and the Error LED light up. And then the 

printer goes into the PIT3 mode.

(4) Connect the printer to PC with USB cable.

(5) Start the Maintenance tool.

(6) Click the "About".

(7) Appear the "About" screen.

Double-click anywhere on the desktop while pressing the "Shift".

Note :

• The maintenance driver must have been installed. (Refer to 

"APPENDIX 3 

INSTALLING THE MAINTENANCE PRINTER DRIVER"
