For the HP LaserJet, EPSON FX-850, and IBM Proprinter XL emulation modes, you can select the
symbol and character sets in the PRINT MENU. See

About emulation modes

on page 4-22.

If you have chosen the HP-GL emulation menu, you can choose the standard or alternate character set
in the PRINT MENU. See

OCR Symbol Sets
