b. Time Delay Feature & High/Low Voltage Protection
The time delay feature is designed to protect equipment from rapid ON/OFF
fl
uctuations in the AC
grid power when the incoming grid power fails completely or goes over 260V.
The default mode for the SRG is to remain off until the voltage stabilizes back under 260V - delaying
the power output for 6 seconds after the voltage returns to the normal range so that rapid ON/OFF
fl
uctuations do not damage your connected equipment. During this time the TIME DELAY indicator
light will appear on the display.
Attention:
Please note that the device does not switch off automatically if the voltage drops below
140 volts. If the input voltage is below 140 volts, the output voltage will also drop.
c. Overheat Protection
The SRG stabilizer will automatically switch off when the inner temperature reaches a level that is
unsafe. In this moment the “Unusual” indicator will appear on the display with the “Overheat” indicator
light.
d. Load / Overload Indicator
The SRG stabilizer will display the power load while working, if the total input current exceeds the
maximum safe level then the SRG will go into Overload Protection Mode and the “Overload” indicator
will appear on the display with the “Unusual” status display. In this mode the SRG will automatically
switch off.
Note that overloading can be due to putting too high power equipment onto the system and also
because of very low input voltages reducing the maximum output capacity of the system.
See the Load Capacity Input Voltage Factor chart for indications on how to understand maximum
load capacity at different voltage ranges.
