Customized I/O options
mini CORI-FLOW™ instruments can offer several customized input/output functions as an option. These options can be
installed on the M8 wire of the Main terminal and on the A2 wire of the Actuator terminal (see section
).
I/O options are factory installed as specified at ordering time, and cannot be changed manually.
The
on the serial number label contains information about the I/O configuration of your instrument. The
possible configurations are described in the table below. Consult the hook-up diagram for custom bus and I/O
configurations for an explanation of the codes.

Disabled, M8/A2 is pulled down to 0Vdc (default selection)
A1V
0…10Vdc sourcing output, controller
Analog signal for pump or external valve steering (control signal only)
When the controller output is used for pump or external valve steering (mass flow meters only), make sure
to set parameter
Valve maximum
to 0.3 [A]. For mass flow controllers, the controller output is limited to a
value below 10Vdc, due to the maximum valve current restriction.
B1V
4…20mA sourcing output, controller
Analog signal for pump or external valve steering (control signal only).
When the controller output is used for pump or external valve steering (mass flow meters only), make sure
to set parameter
Valve maximum
to 0.3 [A]. For mass flow controllers, the controller output is limited to a
value below 20mA, due to the maximum valve current restriction.
