Congratulations on your purchase of the new telephone that merges
classic design with today’s technology. It offers convenient features.
Please read this user carefully and save this booklet for future reference.

INSTALLATION
1. Plug the line cord into the line jack on the back of the telephone.
Plug the other end of the line cord into your telephone wall socket.
2. Plug the coiled handset cord into the handset jack on back of the
telephone.
3. Place the handset on the cradle.
OPERATION
SETTING THE DIALING MODE TONE/PULSE SWITCH
This control switch allows you to select your dialing mode (tone / pulse).
MAKING AND ANSWERING CALLS
To obtain dial tone or answer an incoming call simply lift the handset.
To hang up, either replace the handset or depress the hook switch.

RINGER HI/LOW SWITCH
This control switch allows you to get different loudness of Ringer.
HI – loud rings on incoming calls
LOW – lower rings on incoming calls
REDIAL
The telephone always stores the last number you have dialed
in memory.
To redial the same number lift the handset t o obtain dial tone
and press the REDIAL button once.
PAUSE
In some telephone systems, you must dial an access code
(9, for example) and wait for a second dial tone before you
can dial an outside number. Lift the handset and dial the
access code, press REDIAL to insert a pause, then dial
the number. When the redial button is pressed, the pause
will automatically be inserted after the access digit before
the number is dialed
CARING FOR THE TELEPHONE
1. Do not expose the phone to direct sunlight, extreme
temperature,high humidity or severe vibration for a
long period of time.
2. Keep the phone away from heating appliances and
devices that generate electrical interference such as
fluorescent lamps and motors.
3. Do not use benzine, thinners, or abrasive powder to
clean the phone,wipe it with a soft dry cloth instead.
4. Slots or openings in the cabinet at the back and bottom
are provided for ventilation, to protect the phone from
over heating, these openings must not be blocked.
