1. Shear bolt on axle sheared /

missing

2. Ground slippery / icy

3. Agitator causing drag in dry

material

Replace shear bolt

Lower tyre pressures
Drill axle and add second drive
shear bolt
Remove agitator when spreading dry
material

Spread pattern too narrow /
wide

1. Optional spread deflector

incorrectly adjusted

2. Speed too slow / fast

Adjust deflector

Adjust forward speed

Spread pattern uneven

1. Incorrect adjustment

2. Spreading disc not level
3. Disc caked in material debris
4. Travel speed in work

excessive

5. Disc or disc vanes worn
