• Prevent harness/vehicle belt from getting trapped between car doors or rubbing against
sharp parts of the seat or body.
• If the harness/vehicle belts becomes cut or frayed, replace it before travelling.
• Periodically inspect the harness of wear, paying particular attention to attachment points,
stitching and adjusting devices.
• If the vehicle has been left in the sun for a long time, check the seat cover and make sure it
is not too hot before placing the child in the child car seat.
• Security is only guaranteed if the child car seat is fitted in accordance with these instructions.
• Failure to comply with the above instructions will automatically void the warranty and exempt
Britton from any liability.
• Store this car seat in a safe place when it is not being in used. Avoid placing heavy objects
on top of it. Do not allow your child car seat to contact with corrosive substances e.g. battery
acid.
NOTICE:
1. This is a “Universal” child restraint .It is approved to ECE Regulation No.44.04 series of
amendments, for general use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not all, car seats.
2. A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle handbook that the
vehicle is capable of accepting a “Universal” child restraint for this age group.
3. This child restraint has been classifi ed as “Universal” under more stringent conditions as
those which applied to earlier designs which do not carry this notice.
4. lf in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or retailer.
This child restraint is only suitable if the vehicle is fitted with a type approved 3 point with retrac-
tor safety belt, in compliance with standard UN / ECE Regulation No.16 or other equivalent
standards.

INSTALLATION
Place the booster in your car and make sure that it is closely against the backrest of passenger
seat.
Set your child on the booster. Adjust the shoulder strap adjuster (1) to make sure the shoulder
strap (5) is long enough for the red shoulder strap guide (2) to lie on your child’s shoulder.
Fasten the seatbelt across your child. The lap section of the belt should sit as forward as
possible over the hips and pass under the armrests (6) on either side of the booster, then
buckle up. Adjust the seatbelt to fit your child’s body and remove the slack as much as
possible, and make sure the seatbelt is not twisted.
Attach the red shoulder strap guide to the diagonal section of the seatbelt. Make sure that you
attach it just above your child’s shoulder as shown above. This ensures that the seatbelt sits
correctly over your child’s shoulder and not across his/her neck.
Your child is now secured. To release your child silmpy undo the seat belt.
