PREPARATION OF JARS FOR JAM
Wash jars and lids in hot, soapy water. Rinse well in hot water. Place jars and lids into a large saucepan and fill with water to cover. Bring water to the
boil and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Carefully transfer jars and lids onto an oven tray. Place into a preheated oven 100°C for 15-20 minutes
or until completely dry. Remove from oven using oven mitts and use immediately.
It is important that these recipes are measured accurately otherwise the ingredients may boil over, making cleaning difficult.
