• Never allow children to play with the child car seat.
• Never install nor take out of the car this child car seat with your child in it.
• This child car seat must not be used without the cover.
• The seat cover should not be replaced with any other than the one recommended by
the manufacturer, since the cover constitutes an integral part of this restraint.
• Do not allow your child car seat to come into contact with corrosive substances e.g.
battery acid, solvents etc.;
• Refrain from using it as a toy or as a seat at home.
• WARNING: It shall be recommended that the child restrait should be changed when it
has been subject to violent stresses in an accident.
• SEMI-UNIVERSAL category: IMPORTANT: NEVER use only the Isofix connectors to
secure the child car seat; the connectors must ALWAYS be used in conjunction with
the car’s seat belts.
In the event of an emergency
If your child car seat has been involved in an accident at a collision speed above 10
km/h, even though minor, you MUST dispose of it and purchase a new one; even if
your child car seat shows no signs of damage, there may be weaknesses that you are
unable to see; if this child car seat is involved in another accident it may fail to protect
your child. For this reason we suggest that you NEVER use or purchase a second hand
child car seat.
Checking the Car’s Seat Belts
WARNING: The ASTON b.fix child car seat must ONLY be installed facing forward, on
the front or back seat of the vehicle and ALWAYS secured using the three-point safety
harness (1) (2) with inertia reel (Pic. 2).
Checking the position of the vehicle’s seat belt buckle
The stability of the child car seat may be compromised by the position of the vehicle’s
seat belt buckle. If the seat belt buckle is as illustrated at the top of Pic.3, the child car
seat is not suitable for use in this vehicle or at least, on this seat.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Warnings
Only use the child car seat to transport the child in the vehicle. Place the child car seat
on the appropriate seat in the vehicle, facing forward. Ensure that the backrest of the
