Function
The wireless water detector is part of the Brennenstuhl Home Automation
Systems BrematicPRO, controlled via app or the BrematicPRO PC software.
The wireless water detector, with the help of two sensors on the bottom
of the device, detects the presence of water indoors and notifies the
BrematicPRO Gateway of this. Additionally, an alarm is emitted
acoustically through the Piezo signal transmitter. The water level sensor
is triggered by a water level of over 1 mm. The device is battery-powered.
For this reason, it is flexible and can be used in any location.
Note:
A water level of 1.5 cm or above may result in water entering
the device. You will have to replace the wireless water detector if
water enters it.
Setting up the wireless water detector
Place the wireless water detector onto a stable, level surface.
Avoid soft surfaces e.g. carpets.
Ensure that the wireless water detector is within the range of
the BrematicPRO Gateway.
Test the reception at different times of the day to take into
account potential radio interference at different times of the day.
If you want to prevent the water detector from accidentally
shifting, use the adhesive pad enclosed to affix the water detector.
