Activating the minute-repeater
(chime)
A the minute repeater slide piece
Crown in position 1 . To activate the
chime, pull the slide-piece A down
completely (
▼ ▼
). The watch strikes the
hours, quarters and minutes, on two
different gongs.
Example: 11:59 is struck as follows
– 11 strokes on the first gong (hour)
– 3 double strokes on both gongs
(quarters)
– 14 single strokes on the second
gong (minutes)
Important note
Do not UNDER ANY CIRCUM-
STANCES activate the slide-piece
when the crown is not in posi-
tion 1.
This watch is not water-resistant.
