WARNING
Discontinue lift use
immediately if any lift
or vehicle interlock
does not operate
properly. Failure to
do so may result in

and/or property
damage.

Vehicle movement is prevented unless the lift door
is closed, ensuring the lift is stowed.
Lift operation shall be prevented unless the vehicle
is stopped and vehicle movement is prevented.
The platform will not fold/stow if occupied.
The inner roll stop will not raise if occupied.
The outer barrier will not raise if occupied.
Verify platform lighting* when lift is deployed and
pendant illumination when it is powered.
An audio warning (and visual warning for public lifts)
will activate if the threshold area is occupied when

installation. This operational checklist can be used
at any time to verify the lift is fully functional.
*Public use vehicle manufacturers are responsible
for complying with the lift lighting requirements in
Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 404,
Platform Lift Installations in Motor Vehicles (49 CFR
571.404).
