1. The salt contai ner must only be refil led when the salt warning light in the control panel comes on.

Depending on how well the salt dissolve s, the salt warning light may still be on even though the
salt container is filled.
If there is no salt w arning light in the con trol panel (for some Mode ls),you can estim ate when to f ill
the salt into the softener by the cycles that the dishwasher has run.

2. I f salt has spilled, run a soak or qu ick prog ram to r emo ve it.

Always u se salt intended for dishwasher use.
The salt co ntain er is located beneath the lowe r basket and sh ould be filled as explained
in t he foll owing:

Filling the Rinse Aid Dispenser

The rinse aid is rele ased d uring the final ri nse to prevent water from forming droplets on y our dis hes, whic h can
leave spots and streaks. It also improv es dry ing by allowing water to roll off the dishes. Your d ishwasher is
design ed to use liquid rins e aids. The rinse a id dis penser is located inside, on the door an d next to the detergent d ispens er.
To fill the dispenser, ope n the cap and pour the rinse aid into the dispenser until the level indicator turns c ompletely
black . The v olume of the ri nse aid c ontainer is about 110m l.

Function of Rinse Aid

Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing, a s pot and streak free drying.

Warning!

Only use branded rinse aid for dishwasher. Never fill the rinse aid dis penser with any other substances

(e.g. Di shwasher cleaning agent, liquid detergent). Th is would damage the app liance.
