c) Before Using for the First Time
 Before using for the first time remove all the plastic sachets, cardboard and paper which
protect the various parts of the machine.
 Caution, the batter spreader is in the polystyrene packaging.
 Clean the cooking plates with a slightly damp cloth. Then dry them carefully.
Before cleaning the cooking plates make sure that the machine is
unplugged.
When using for the first time a small amount of smoke make be given off by
the machine. It is completely inoffensive and will disappear after using
several times.
Advice: To avoid this happening allow the machine to pre-heat for 15 minutes before using it to
cook the food and consider airing the room.
