and not directly below a socket. A socket should be available for supplying power
to the appliance.
Caution! Ensure that the fan heater is not placed near any flammable materials or
fluids, or with the air discharge pointing in this direction.
6. Initial use
Connect the appliance to a suitable socket. To start it, put the ON/OFF switch on
the rear of the appliance to the "I" position and make sure that the fan heater is
placed on a flat surface.
Note: During initial use, the fan heater may smell slightly. The slight smell after
unpacking disappears after some time.
Switching on and off
Press the "ON/OFF/MODE" button ( ) on the remote control or the control
elements of the fan heater to turn the appliance on or change the corresponding
mode. Once it is switched on, the power LED lights up.
If you want to switch the appliance on, press and hold the "ON/OFF/MODE"
button for about 3 seconds. The appliance then switches off.
If the fan heater is switched off, the heating elements are switched off first. The
fan will continue to run for about 1 minute to cool itself down adequately.
