CAUTION
: DO NOT run an in-package check after the sensor has been
inserted. This will lead to an erroneous failure message for functional
sensors.
Place antenna directly over the AURA™ Sensor and into the
Antenna Holster
provided in the AURA
TM
Sensor Tray (Figure 13). The Antenna Holster will hold
the AURA™ Antenna securely in place.
The LED on the AURA
TM
Antenna will
illuminate green upon successful connection to an AURA
TM
Sensor.

CAUTION

Antenna does not rest on or
contact the patient’s skin.
Upon successful connection, the AURA™ Monitor will display the sensor’s serial
number then begin to stream ICP data.
If an
AURA™ Sensor is not found within 20 seconds, the screen will display
the following screens:
