3.5.3

Turning off the System

How to Turn Off

Waiting Periods

When disconnecting the system from line voltage, wait at least 10 seconds before re-
connecting it.

Do not turn off the system during boot-up. Otherwise, configuration files and other
data on the hard disk may be damaged.

Loss of Data

Failure to follow system shutdown procedure prior to disconnecting power may result
in irreversible loss of data.

Power Supply

To ensure complete disconnection from the power supply, unplug the power plug.

The system is equipped with an uninterruptible power supply and is still powered after
the main power cord has been disconnected.

Steps

Ensure that software has been closed.

Shut down the system.

NOTE: During the shut-down process, the

Power Status LED

blinks orange/yellow. As

soon as the system is turned off, the

Power Status LED

turns orange (stand by).

Disconnect system from power supply.

NOTE: Some internal fans remain on as long as the system is connected to mains power.

Unplug and secure all cables.
