Storage tank cover sealing

The storage tank is pressurised! Only
open the storage tank cover after the
storage tank has been depressurised!
Danger of injury from discharging hot
agent!

5.5.1

Repair the leaking seal of the storage
tank cover

Only remedy leaking pressurised
connections after the storage tank has
been depressurised.

- Open the jelly storage tank cover.
- Slacken the lock nut (1) at the storage tank cover

closure (2).

- Rotate the storage tank cover closure (2) some

revolutions in the clockwise direction.

- Retighten lock nut (1).
- Exchange the seal of the storage tank cover, if the

seal of the storage tank cover is still leaky.

5.5.2

Exchanging the seal of the storage
tank cover

The seal of the storage tank cover may
only be exchanged

by skilled technical personnel.

when it is not connected to the
electric power supply and not
pressurised.

- Remove the damaged seal of the storage tank

cover (1) from the groove (2) of the storage tank
cover (3) using a small screw driver.

- Press the new seal for the jelly storage tank cover

into the groove of the storage tank cover.
