4.10 Adjusting the agent pressure
It is imperative that you comply with the
chapter "General requirements on the
compressed air source", page 12.
The agent pressure may be set between
0 bar and maximum 5 bar.
By the factory the agent pressure has
been set to 4 bar.
With the agent pressure that has been
set at the factory the agent which is
mentioned in the intended use usually
can be processed in the necessary
quantities.
Only in case of more viscous agents you
must increase the agent pressure, so
that the desired agent quantity will
discharge from the spray gun.
The bleed valve opens if the maximum
permissible implement pressure of 6 bar
is exceeded.
- Remove the housing bottom (refer to chapter
"Opening the implement housing", page 30.
- Place the implement upright on a work surface so
that you get access to the turning knob (1) from
the bottom.
- Fill the storage tank with the agent to be
processed.
- Switch on the implement.
- Set the necessary processing temperature.
- Open the ball valve on the compressed air supply.
- Spray out the agent by means of the spray gun.
- Simultaneously turn the turning knob (1) until the
agent will discharge from the spray gun in the
desired quantity.
To adjust the agent pressure, slightly
pull out the turning knob (1) in the
direction of the arrow (2) and turn it into
the desired direction.
Increasing the agent pressure - turn
the turning knob clockwise (+).
Reducing the agent pressure - turn
the turning knob anti-clockwise (-).
- Shut the implement housing again with the
housing bottom.
