Radio Module
(Optional)
Function
The use of a Radio Module allows a wireless connection between the
T-TEST K12 unit and your PC.
The area covered by the signal may vary from a few meters up to
100 meters depending on the presence of any obstacle between the
two aerials.
Items included with the radio module
PC pole Rx-Tx Module including
:

Radio
o
Omni-directional aerial
o
USB Cable (for PC connection)
T-TEST K12 pole Rx-Tx Module including:
o
Radio (contained in the T-TEST box)
o
Omni-directional aerial with connector
Installation
Connect the first Radio Module to the PC via the USB cable supplied.
The system will start searching the driver of the device just connected.
Direct the search along this path: C.\Programmi\BOVIAR\Ttest\Driver\
Successful detection will be confirmed by a message.
Now, insert the aerial plug to the RF socket of the unit and then switch
it on: the
“
RUN
”
LED will flash (BLUE LIGHT).
Run the software and let it complete connection as shown in the prior
“
Control
Panel”
paragraph.
Warning!
The use of a radio modem strongly affects battery power consumption.
It is suggested to resort to an external adaptor / battery charger.
When not in use, disconnect the aerial from the unit RF socket so that the
radio is kept switched off.
