Operation of the training system

10.1

Switching on the training system

•

The electrical supply and installation is correct.

•

A function test has been performed.

•

There are no tools, cleaning rags or other objects on the WS502 training

system.

•

Accessibility and the functioning of the EMERGENCY STOP button are

guaranteed.



Assess every exercise setup:

–

Reliability,

–

Protection against injury.

Depending on the operating condition, before switching on check the following:



Ensure that the power plug for the power supply of the WS502 training system

is plugged in.



If applicable, unlock all EMERGENCY-STOP buttons.



Turn the main switch of the training system to the ON position.

The control system starts. The illuminated RESET (blue) pushbutton on the

control cabinet flashes.



Press the illuminated RESET pushbutton.

A message is displayed on the robot system’s hand control.



Press the Reset/Abort button on the display.

The message "Start Robot Auto External” is displayed.



Press the Start Auto External button

10.2

Setting the robot speed

In order to reduce the speed, turn the speed control override (1) counter-

clockwise.
In order to increase the speed, turn the speed control override clockwise.



Set to the lowest speed setting of the robot. Turn the speed override counter-

clockwise until it stops and then one stage in the clockwise direction.
