Button Selection Description
Remote Start ¡
Activate
¡ Deactivate
¡ Open the Home Con-
nect menu
If you briefly press the button, the appliance will be
enabled for remote start via the Home Connect app
If you press the button for approx. 3 seconds, the
Home Connect menu opens.
Notes
¡ Remote start cannot be activated for safety reas-
ons in the following circumstances:
–
The door is open.
–
The detergent drawer has not been pushed
in fully.
¡ Remote start is deactivated for safety reasons in
the following circumstances:
–
Open the door.
–
Press Start / Reload .
–
Press Remote Start .
–
Switch off the appliance.
–
Following a power cut.
Child Lock ⁠ 3 sec. ¡
Activate
¡ Deactivate
Activate or deactivate the childproof lock.
Disable the control panel to prevent unwanted or
accidental operation.
If the childproof lock is activated and the appliance
has been switched off, the childproof lock remains
activated.

Prewash ⁠ ¡
Activate
¡ Deactivate
Activate or deactivate prewash, e.g. for washing
heavily soiled laundry.
Note: If the intelligent dosing system is activated,
the detergent will be dispensed automatically for
the prewash and the main wash.
If the intelligent dosing system is deactivated, place
the detergent for the prewash directly in the drum.
Water Plus ¡ Activate
¡
Deactivate
Wash with more water.
Recommended for particularly sensitive skin and
for treating laundry more gently.
