3 Operating Instructions
1.
Check the fixture for visible damages such as signs
of wear, deformation, breakages, cracks and
corrosion damages prior to each use. Check the
thread for damages. Check the circlip for damage
and the correct seat. Do no use the support when
defects are noted and discard it immediately.
2.
Carry out the necessary preparation work for the
use of the holder in accordance with the workshop
manuals.
3.
Attach the fixture to the load exactly as described
in the workshop manuals. Tighten the hexagon
screw with a torque of 45 Nm thereby.
WARNING
Danger through tilting or falling of the load!
Incorrect attachment of the support to the load may
cause a tilting or falling of the load! This can cause
serious injuries and damage to materials.
Attach the fixture exactly as described in the
workshop manual.
Check the function of the fall protection.
Check the secure seat of the support prior to lifting
the load.
4.
Carry out further work as described in the
workshop manuals.
5.
Ensure that all parts of the special tool have been
removed after completing the repair work.
4 Inspection and Maintenance
